The western meets the eastern in The Warrior’s Way.
I laughed. I thrilled. I went “aw.” I laughed again.
Korean superstar Dong-gun Jang is the eastern hero,
Kate Bosworth is the western heroine,
Geoffrey Rush is the old drunk gunfighter,
Danny Huston is the rapacious bandit,
Hong Kong legend Ti Lung is the ninja master,
Tony Cox is ringmaster of the non-traveling circus,
and the baby is just adorable.
It was great. I loved it.
The Warrior’s Way is available on DVD and Blu-ray. The meager extras are deleted scenes and a “behind the scenes montage.” The Blu-ray also comes with a digital copy of the film.
